National Advocacy Team

The National Advocacy Team (NAT) is a national network of education, healthcare, business, public service, political and media professionals, which supports the YEDF after-school Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Entrepreneurship and Health Care training.

The NAT primary functions are to:
1. Serve as liaison to businesses, educational institutions and government agencies.

2. Explore ways which businesses, educational institutions and government agencies can benefit from the YEDF after school training services.

3. Mobilize their network, parents, students and community leaders to support the YEDF after school services.

4. Inform and educate parents and students about the need to pursue STEM, entrepreneurship and health care STEM training at an early age.

5. Ensure parents and students fully understand that most future jobs will require an understanding of STEM subjects.

6. Network with and seek the support from family, friends, employer, former employers and associates.
